The NBA trade deadline is today, so make sure none of the games below are impacted by a last-minute deal. There are five games on the slate with two excellent games on national television with the Bucks hosting the 76ers and the Lakers hosting the Rockets. The largest spread is nine points and four of the five games have game totals of at least 226.

BEST BETS

Philadelphia 76ers (+9) at Milwaukee Bucks, 8 p.m. ET

A lot of trends point to the Bucks. They have the best record in the NBA and are looking for revenge. The 76ers beat the Bucks at home on Christmas, 121-109. The 76ers have been very inconsistent and are awful on the road with a 9-18 record. The 76ers are 9-17-1 ATS on the road and their last three road wins were against the Knicks, Nets and Pistons. They were embarrassed in their last game against the Heat, 137-106, and Ben Simmons said the team was soft. They have lost four consecutive road games. The Bucks are one of the top offensive teams in the NBA and the 76ers are one of the top defensive teams. The 76ers match up with the Bucks well and in a nationally televised game, they will show up for this game. The 76ers might lose, but they will keep it close.

San Antonio Spurs at Portland Trail Blazers (-3), 10 p.m. ET

The Blazers have been playing well recently and are battling for a playoff spot. They are coming off a blowout loss against the Nuggets, but are 4-1 ATS in the last five games. They have played a brutal schedule with wins over the Pacers, Rockets, Lakers and Jazz in that stretch. The Spurs are on the third game of their eight-game road trip and started the trip with losses to the Clippers and Lakers. It's the third road game in four days for the Spurs. The teams have met twice this season with the Blazers winning the last one, 121-116. The Spurs won the first matchup on Oct. 28, 113-110.
