There are eight games in the NBA tonight and a lot of players are out. Russell Westbrook, Jimmy Butler, Gordon Hayward and Jaylen Brown have already been ruled out. There are several small lines with five games having spreads of five points or less. Five games have totals of at least 223. The 76ers, Rockets and Trail Blazers are playing for the second consecutive night.

Atlanta Hawks (+9.5) at Boston Celtics, 7:30 p.m. ET

The Celtics will be without Jaylen Brown, Gordon Hayward and Daniel Theis. Kemba Walker will return, but be on a minutes limit and Marcus Smart will return after missing two games with a quad injury. The Hawks lost at home to the Celtics, 123-115 on Monday. The Celtics won the first matchup against the Atlanta at home, 109-106. The Celtics have won five consecutive games and gone 5-0 ATS. The Hawks have been competitive against the Celtics and the combo of Trae Young and John Collins will keep Atlanta close.

Portland Trail Blazers (+9.5) at Utah Jazz, 10:30 p.m. ET

The Trail Blazers are playing for the second straight night after beating the Spurs, 125-117. Usually, it's a bad spot to play the second night in Utah, but Denver was in the same situation Wednesday night with only seven players available and won in Utah, 98-95. The Jazz have lost five consecutive games, including two at home. The Trail Blazers beat the Jazz in one of those games in Portland, 124-107. The Jazz are 0-5 ATS in the last five games, while the Blazers are 4-1. The Blazers are averaging 120 points over the last five games. Until the Jazz have a good performance, they can't be taken as such a big favorite. The Blazers will cover the spread.
