Wager Alarm NBA Best Bets - February 11
Adam Ronis brings you his Best Bets for tonight's NBA slate
There are five games in the NBA tonight and it's one of the toughest betting slates. I won't have much action tonight. Last night, I hit a five-team parlay with four money lines and an underdog. It's a strategy that has worked well for me.
I had the money lines of the Bucks (-500), Lakers (-835), Nuggets (-286), Raptors (-435) and the Nets +6.5 (-110) for a +326. I narrowly missed a four-team parlay at +488, but had the Kings +11 and they lost by 13. Once I saw Jimmy Butler was active, I took the Heat -6.5. With the NBA, make sure you track news and the lines throughout the day, as there is a lot of movement.
There are three really good games that I think are tough to pick tonight with the Clippers-76ers, Celtics-Rockets and Pelicans-Blazers. They all have lines of three or lower. Four of the five games have totals of at least 225.
Chicago Bulls at Washington Wizards (-3), 7 p.m. ET
The Wizards have been playing better and are healthy. They are 3.5 games out of a playoff spot. The Bulls have lost five consecutive games by an average of 12.8 points. The Wizards are 12-13 at home and have played well against some good teams. They are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 home games. The Bulls won both meetings this season, but these teams are trending in opposite directions now. The Bulls have allowed an average of 124 points the last five games.
San Antonio Spurs at Oklahoma City Thunder (-8), 8 p.m. ET
This is a terrible spot for the Spurs. They are playing for the sixth time in nine days, for the third time in four days and lost last night in Denver, 127-120. They had a 23-point lead at one point. DeMar DeRozan was scratched at the last minute with back spasms and is listed as doubtful. The Spurs have started their eight-game road trip with five straight losses and are 1-4 ATS. The Thunder have been one of the better teams ATS and are 8-3 ATS in the last 11 games.
