Finally, the NBA is back! Six days without games is too much. The All-Star weekend was fun and I did have Buddy Hield at +600 to win the three-point contest, but I am thrilled to have games again to wager on. We have six games on the slate with two games of double-digit spreads. The other games are all 7.5 or less. Three games have totals of at least 229.

Memphis Grizzlies (-1) at Sacramento Kings, 10 p.m. ET

The Grizzlies have been playing well and are holding on to the eighth seed in the Western Conference. They have played the Kings twice and split the games. The Grizzlies are 20-8-1 against the spread in their last 29. Over the last 19 games, the Grizzlies are 15-4 and 14-5 ATS. As a favorite, the Grizzlies are 12-4. The Kings are 10-18 ATS in their last 28 games, including 5-12-1 at home. The Kings are 2-8-1 ATS in their 11 against teams with winning records. The Grizzlies have been playing better defense, limiting opponents to 102.2 points over the last five games.

Milwaukee Bucks (-13) at Detroit Pistons, 7 p.m. ET

Yes, I know it's scary to take a road team favored by 13. I don't do it often, but if there's one team I am confident to do it with it's the Bucks. The Pistons haven't won since they traded Andre Drummond and they just lost Reggie Jackson. They will likely start to shift towards playing younger players and the Bucks will score at will. The Bucks have won 14 of 15 and are 21-5 on the road. The Pistons have lost 10 of 12. The Bucks have won both matchups this season. They won 104-90 and 127-103. Expect the same tonight.

Last day: 1-1

Season: 18-10-1
