Adam Ronis brings you his best bets for today's NBA slate
Philadelphia 76ers at Boston Celtics, 6:30 p.m. ET
The scoring was up in the bubble, especially for the 76ers. They scored at least 117 points in their last four games. The teams met four times in the regular season with totals of 224, 200, 207 and 211. The two combined to average more than 238 in the bubble. The 76ers averaged 120.1 points and shot 41.6 percent from three-point range. The Celtics averaged 118.1 points per game in the bubble. Both teams have played fast in the bubble.
PICK: Over 218.5
Dallas Mavericks at Clippers, 9 p.m. ET
The Clippers have barely had their entire team together for many games this season. Injuries and rest played a part, but there will be no minutes restrictions or rest in the postseason. Patrick Beverly and Landry Shamet are listed as questionable and Montrezl Harrell could be limited in his first game back. Still, the Clippers are deep and a better team than Dallas. The Mavericks struggled defensively and will give Luka Doncic a tough time, throwing Kawhi Leonard and Paul George at him. The Mavericks were 2-6 ATS in the bubble, including a 126-111 loss to the Clippers. The Clippers were 6-2 ATS. The teams have met three times with the Clippers winning two by 15 points and the other by three points.
PICK: Clippers -6.5
