NBA Best Bets: September 9
Adam Ronis brings you his best bets for today's NBA slate
Los Angeles Clippers at Denver Nuggets, 9 p.m. ET
The Clippers rallied in Game 3 with a 29-19 fourth quarter to beat the Nuggets, 113-107, and take a 2-1 lead in the series. The Nuggets have covered in two of the first three games. The Nuggets won Game 2 with Jamal Murray scoring 27 points. They lost the other two games when Murray scored 12 and 14 points. He is shooting 8-for-26 from three-point range in the series. If he doesn't have a big game, the chances for the Nuggets winning decline. Nikola Jokic carried Denver in Game 3 with 32 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists. Paul George is coming on for the Clippers after scoring 32 points on 66.7 percent shooting, including 5-for-7 from three-point range. When he and Kawhi Leonard are on, the Clippers are difficult to beat. Leonard has had two of his lowest scoring games in the playoffs in the last two games with 23 and 13 points, shooting 13-for-36 and that won't last.
PICK: Clippers -8
