Wager Alarm NHL Best Bets - March 6
Andrew Dewhirst brings you his best bets for today's slate of games!
Calgary Flames vs Arizona Coyotes
The Flames have won the first two meetings this year against the Coyotes (3-2, and 5-2). The teams home and road records are awash with neither being overly proficient at home vs on the road. I look for the Flames to win tonight, in what could be a tight game (Calgary is also 6-1 in shootouts) and win their 3rd game in a row.
St. Louis Blues (-1.5) at New Jersey Devils
The Champs have been road warriors this year winning 52% of their road games. Tonight they get a Devils team that only wins 38% of the time at home, and is starting Cory Schneider who is stopping just 88% of the shots he faces. I look for the Blues to cover tonight.
Colorado Avalanche at Vancouver Canucks
Thatcher Demko has lost 3 straight for Vancouver, and he is expected to play tonight against the Avs. The Avs win 68% of their road games, and I expect that trend to continue against the struggling Canucks.
