NFL Best Bets: January 10
Jon Impemba pores over the data, analysis and moneylines to bring you his best bets for today's games between the Ravens/Titans and Bears/Saints!
On the day this feels like the best odds of an upset. We saw the Titans already beat the Ravens this season and of course, they beat them last year in the playoffs as well. Baltimore's run defense has been middle of the pack and right now Derrick Henry is in full-on beast mode. Not only is Henry on a roll right now but the offense as a whole is clicking with Ryan Tannehill proving that last season was no fluke. If Baltimore falls behind in this game their offense could struggle to come back with Jackson's regression in the passing game. Vegas has the Titans as a 3.5-point underdog which means they think it's going to be close as well. Let's take the ML here and see if they can pull off the upset.
Pick: Titans +160
10.5 points are just a lot of points to give an NFL team and one that controls the ball on the ground and has a solid defense as well. The Saints are clearly the better team and will have both Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas active for today's game. The Saints defense is also generally stout against the run. But we are still talking about 10.5 points here. With the Saints more than likely being the outright winners here, I think we could get Chicago with a backdoor cover at the very least.
