Free Preview: NFL PropBook Week 2
Diving into the best props to bet in Week 2 of the NFL season
Week 2 is upon us after the Bengals took apart the Ravens. Injury information is out and the player props are available. Here are some ideas of where to look today. No real weather angles to attack unlike last week so we're diving right into the best matchups.
Adrian Peterson Over 65.5 yards
Peterson had a monster week 1 against his former team, the Cardinals, and now gets Indy at home. The Colts gave up 95 yards to Joe Mixon in week 1 and now go on the road to face a Washington team coming off a nice win on the road against Arizona. It seems like AD has something left in the tank and Indy didn’t dispel the thought that they have no defense. Expect a heavy work load for Peterson. You can also find Over .5 TD for plus-money if you’re into that.
Ben Roethlisberger Over 295.5 Passing Yards
Last week the Chiefs were bad against the pass as Phillip Rivers was able to throw for 424 with three touchdowns. Ben had a bad week. There’s no denying that. He, as everyone knows, is better at home and I think this is a good matchup for him. Not only did Rivers throw for over 400, but he missed a few other deep balls. With Antonio Brown, JuJu and James Washington, this could be big play heaven for the Steelers.
Charles Clay Under 3 Receptions
Clay should be a preferred target, but Josh Allen is a wildcard here. Expect the Bills to be conservative and if the playbook does get opened up, Kelvin Benjamin should be the target play. Last year at home, Clay went over three receptions in only three of the eight games. The Chargers linebacking crew limited Travis Kelce to just one reception last week so getting to the quarterback and limiting tight-end targets will be at a premium.
