Free Preview: NFL Pickbook Week 10
We head into Week 10 of the NFL season, where teams really start to shape divisional races. Big spreads ahead, but money to be made.
Magic numbers are everywher this week so we look outside the box towards some teasers and over/unders. No real weather concerns outside of temperature so we take a look at the talent on the field that will make the difference.
|Team||Opp||Last5||H/A||STR||WG O/U||WG ML||Caesars O/U||Caesars ML||CGT O/U||CGT ML||BreakDown|
|New York Jets||Buffalo Bills||1-4||2-6||36.5||-330||36||-310||36.5||-320||36.5||-320||36.5||-320||36.5||-313||36.5||-296||Jets -7: There's just no good way to attack this game. Matt Barkley starts for the Bills with Nathan Peterman heading to the bench after Derek Anderson couldn't get out of concussion protocol. This is purely a "Josh McCown can't be as bad as anything the Bills got" play. The Jets are 2-2 at home with loses to the Dolphins and the Vikings while getting wins over the Colts and Broncos. With Sam Darnold out, expect a low scoring affair with New York focusing on short passing for McCown. Barkley hasn't thrown a pass in the NFL since 2016 with the Bears and has to go on the road in this start. Take the home team and hope the Jets don't turn it over enough to give the Bills a chance.|
|New Orleans Saints||Cincinnati Bengals||3-2||7-1||54||-260||53.5||-255||53.5||-250||54||-260||54||-250||55.5||-250||55.5||-238||Saints/Patriots 7-point tease: Both teams go on the road but are floating around on the magic number of 7. The Saints will look to continue their momentum after beating the Rams last week in Cincinnati and New England looks to head into the bye on a seven-game win streak. Both are top tier teams, traveling with big spreads. With few options on the schedule, take the talent in a teaser to get the lines down to pick-ems.|
|New England Patriots||Tennessee Titans||3-2||3-5||46.5||-310||47.5||-300||46.5||-290||47||-300||47||-300||47||-278||46.5||-286||See above|
|Atlanta Falcons||Cleveland Browns||3-2||3-5||50.5||-275||50.5||-265||50.5||-265||50.5||-270||50.5||-270||50||-270||50.5||-240||Falcons/Browns Over 50: This game should have plenty of offensive fireworks. Last week, the Falcons faced a bad offense in Washington to really mask their defensive troubles. The Browns can score and with another week under new OC Freddie Kitchens, expect Baker Mayfield to be slinging it across the yard. Matt Ryan has multiple weapons and Cleveland's defense just isn't good, allowing 285 yards a game through the air. Expect points and expect them often.|
