Free Preview: NFL PropBook Week 12
Week 12 has a wide range of totals so there is offensive and defensive props to be had. Rob Trayah takes a look at some interesting angles worth attacking this week.
The home stretch is here in the NFL and teams are desperate to lock up playoff spots. Nobody outside of the Rams can lock a place yet, obviously, but teams can put themselves in much better postition. Let's take a look at some props to help pad the wallet and enjoy the Sunday of Week 12.
Corey Clement Under 36.5 Receiving+Rushing Yards: Josh Adams looks prime to take over the leadback role from Clement, who struggled to see the field anyways the past three weeks. Since the Eagles loss to Carolina, Clement has 19 carries for 36 yards and six catches for 14 yards. Smallwood is going to cut into this even more so Clement looks like his role might be gone. The Giants' defense doesn't scream shut down, but Clement shouldn't even be on the field to push this number.
Cam Newton Over 36.5 Rushing Yards - The Panthers have lost their last two games. Cam Newton has 12 yards rushing. The Panthers won their previous three games. Cam Newton averaged 44.6 yards. In the five wins at home this year, Newton has averaged over 40 yards a game. If Carolina wants to win, they need Cam to run the ball. With a delepeted receiving core and K.J. Wright out for Seattle, it's going to be Cam against Bobby Wagner.
JAX/BUF Defensive TD +240: These offenses are NOT GOOD. The over/under for total TDs in this game is 3.5 and with two decent defenses, it might be the only way that points get scored. Another prop to look at is no TD scored, which is 40/1.
