NBA Best Bets: September 10
Adam Ronis brings you his best bets for today's NBA slate
Los Angeles Lakers at Houston Rockets, 7 p.m. ET
After dropping Game 1, the Lakers have won the last two games. As usual in most Lakers wins, LeBron James and Anthony Davis had big performances in Game 3 and Rajon Rondo was terrific for the Lakers with 21 points, nine assists and shot 8-for-11 from the field in 30 minutes. The Rockets led 64-61 at the half but played poorly in the second half mainly due to the Lakers defense. The Lakers shot 55.1 percent from the field and shot 57 percent from Game 2 and expecting that to continue is unlikely. The Rockets need to give the ball to James Harden more. Russell Westbrook has taken 63 shots, while Harden is at 55. The Rockets style of play leads to positive and negative steaks as we have seen. The Rockets will keep this one close.
PICK: Rockets +5.5
