To say the New Mexico State Aggies were embarrassed at home in their week zero tilt with Wyoming would be an understatement.  They gained negative-yards on the ground and were utterly dominated in every facet. Sure, Wyoming is a really good team - especially on defense...but, this was an indictment on Doug Martin’s team.  We’ll get our first look at P.J. Fleck’s second-year Gophers team which should be more athletic and improve on their 5-7 record a year ago.


About New Mexico State: It was said in the introduction, but it bears repeating -- this offense looked downright bad.  A year removed from a solid offensive season which saw them 29.3 points per game, they looked lost.  Sure, it was against a very solid and underrated defensive unit of the Cowboys, but it really doesn’t get any easier against a Minnesota...
