We have another Friday (three games) and Saturday full of college football action and we are here to let you know where the trends are leaning and where the public is facing in order to win some money this weekend surrounding the grand ‘ole game of college football. Let’s jump right in to our picks.
Northern Illinois (-4) vs. Ohio
The Huskies return home after three straight road games and they are definitely a better team at home. The difference here will be the NIU defense, who are built for MAC opponents (a bit undersized) can shut down the run game and force Ohio to throw the ball. Something they would prefer not to do. Bobcat QB Nathan Rourke is questionable and though they have a capable backup in Quinton Maxwell, the Huskies are going to make them one-dimensional. NIU has faced some tough opponents on the road in Iowa and Florida State. They did not show up in those games - losing 33-7 and 37-19 respectively - but coming back to the MAC puts them in a good spot....
